Since PETER o'Meter is going to be an augmented reality book, I have been thinking of ways to tell the story with images as well as animation and music. This page shows PETER experiencing emotion in an abstract composition made of gears. I played with spinning the gears using the animation tools I know and understand.
I spun them in Do Ink animation app, added a green background, and brought them to the Do Ink green screen app to export them as a transparent gif. I did my PETER drawings using procreate with layers for each drawing. You can see them pop up in this video as I reveal each layer one at a time. Everything was combined in a slide on Keynote. I'm sure my methods will be changing, but it's fun to explore and see my ideas take shape so immediately on my iPad.
